Yayoi was excited. She was going to spend time with one of her friends from the community for what was the first time in a while. And she skipped through the portal, preparing to make the jump to Yuri's world. Or time. Or something at least.

With a glow, she stepped through the book portal, ready to go.

It really is! And I've never been to your home town before, even during our time. I'd love to look around and have some fun here.

Of course. I'd be happy to show you around, if you like. Kibougahana isn't the most impressive town, but there's a few places worth seeing.

Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go?

Well I heard there's an amazing botanical garden here, or a greenhouse or something similar. Can we go there?

Ah, yes, the botanical garden is very nice. I go there all the time, actually.

[Yuri walks to the door and holds it open politely.]

Well, shall we go then?

[pikapikapikarin]

Yes, lets!

[Shouldering her purse, Yayoi smiled as she steps through and stretches a little.] Ah, the air is so clean here!

[Yuri smiles as she follows Yayoi outside.] Yes, that's one of the advantages of living here. [She starts walking in the direction of the botanical garden.] It's not a very big town and there's a lot of plants, so the air is fresher.

Yeah, my home town has a airport and everything. It's pretty major and all.

[Heading down the stairs, she waited for Yuri to arrive at the bottom.] Lead on!

Well, places like that have their upsides as well. There's a lot more to see and do, after all. Personally I prefer the peacefulness of smaller towns, though.

[Once they're down and out, Yuri motions forwards.] It's not a long walk. The botanical garden is pretty close. [And they start walking. It shouldn't take long at all to reach the gardens.]

That's true. I've lived in Seven Colored Hills for a while now, so it's pretty nice. It's just myself and my mom though.

[Oh she can see it soon, and she gazed with delight at the sight of it.] Oh it looks so pretty there!

Hm, it's the same for me. Just me and my mother.

If you think it's pretty now, you should really see it inside. [Once they're at the door, she opens it for Yayoi. There are flowers and plants of all types inside, many of them just in bloom.

Of course, one's attention could also be drawn to the weird... whatever sitting not very far away. Coppe is sitting perfectly still, looking like he could be a stuffed toy. A very big, very weird stuffed toy... At least he's trying.]

Aaaaaah! It's amazing! So many plants and that...

that...

[Moving over to Coupe slowly, she examined him and proclaimed...] S-So cool!

[And she predictably hugs him.]

Yes, there's a lot of different plants here. The garden has been here for as long as I can remember.

[Yuri smiles as Yayoi hugs Coupe. It's always nice when someone thinks he's cool.]

Ah, that's Coupe-sama. He's always been here as well.

Coupe-sama? Is he a mascot of the gardens, Yuri-san?

Hm, something like that, I guess.

[Even though Yayoi actually knows Yuri's an ex-Cure, Yuri's still a bit uncomfortable talking about anything related to it.]

He belongs to the owner, so that's probably the best way to describe him.

[Fortunately Yayoi isn't good at putting two and two together and especially since her worst subject was math, she had an exceptionally hard time doing so. Nodding, she smiled.]

He's warm and fuzzy. I like him.

I'm glad to hear it. Most people just think he's weird.

[Thank goodness for that. Yuri isn't up for explaining how fairies work in her world/time/whatever.]

Do you want anything to drink? There's tea, or juice if you prefer that.

Mmm, no, he can't be weird. He's really cool!

Sure, I'd love to have some tea with you, if that's all right.

I guess people think it's strange to have something like him in a botanical garden, or something. But I also think he's cool.

Alright, I'll go make some, then. [Yuri gestures for Yayoi to follow her and leads her to a table further into the garden.] We can sit here. What type of tea do you like?

I think more things need mascots in general. [She follows Yuri over and sits down, smoothing out her skirt.]

Orange tea is one of my favorites.

Maybe so.

Orange tea... right, that should be here. Just a moment.

[Yuri goes to make the tea. It doesn't take long at all, fortunately and there's even some daifuku left. Yuri brings a plate over to the table, with a teapot, two teacups, some sugar and milk and a small plate of mame daifuku.

She fills one of the cups with tea and hands it to Yayoi.]

Here you go.

Ah thank you! [Taking a sip, Yayoi seemed to sparkle as she smiled.] It's so good! Tea with friends is always the best thing!

It is.

[Yuri smiles as well, though it's a bit wistful.]

I used to come here almost every day... I just can't find the time anymore, I guess. So it's nice being here like this.

It is a beautiful place. I can see why you'd want to spend time here.

[Yayoi sips her tea.] It's very calming to say the least.
